From Darkness to Light: Spiritual Healing and Personal Growth Through Meditation

Updated: 2 days ago

Hello everyone,

I am Keerti from Mysore, Karnataka, I am excited to share my transformational journey with you all. I have been meditating for the past five months. My journey into mindfulness and self-awareness began when I discovered Buddha CEO through Instagram. Initially, I struggled to sit still for even 15 minutes, but with consistent practice and guidance, I can now meditate for long hours, experiencing profound peace and clarity. Meditation has become an integral part of my daily routine, bringing immense inner strength and balance.

How It All Began

My journey with meditation started during one of the most difficult times in my life. I was in deep depression after my mother suddenly left this world. She was my comfort zone and my support system and accepting her absence was extremely difficult.

One day, I came across the Buddha CEO 40-day Sankalp program on Instagram. At first, I couldn’t fully understand what Chandra Sir was explaining, but I still attended the sessions, meditated, and exited the sessions without deep involvement. I never paid attention to other participants’ experiences, and even when I listened, I struggled to grasp their insights. It was as if my mind was absent, unable to focus.

Connected

Initially, I couldn’t even sit for 10 minutes to meditate—I struggled a lot. But deep inside, I had a feeling that I needed to continue. One day, I played Patriji’s guided meditation, where Patriji spoke about connecting a mother’s lap to Mother Nature’s lap. That sentence struck me deeply, and from that moment on, I felt a strong connection to meditation. That was my turning point, and I started meditating consistently, now I can meditate for long hours effortlessly.

Lost through Meditation

Through consistent meditation, I have experienced incredible changes in my life. I have lost stress, excessive screen time, unnecessary cravings, excessive sleep, weight, fear, and jealousy. In return,

Gained through Meditation

I have gained an abundance of energy despite sleeping fewer hours, improved emotional intelligence, better situation-handling skills, confidence, and a deep sense of oneness. Previously, I was hesitant to turn on my video during sessions, but now I have gained spontaneity and confidence.

Meditation: Strengthening Family Bonds

My home environment has become more peaceful and joyful. My children have even noticed the change, saying, “Mumma, you have become calm, silent; keep meditating! You are taking care of us even better now.”

My husband and I were very comfortable, supportive, and caring toward each other. However, things changed over time. Now, after practicing meditation, our relationship is returning to its earlier harmony.

There had been misunderstandings among my relatives for the past few years, mainly due to ego. However, through meditation, I learned the essence of oneness with everyone. This helped me resolve the issues, and now everyone is connected again. During this transformation, I faced many challenges, but I was able to handle them.

Great Transformation Through Meditation

When I achieve my career goals and fulfill my dreams, my mom will be very happy, wherever she is. She is an energy, and that energy is always with me. When I reach my goal and people who are close to my mom, they recognize me as my mother’s daughter, I know she will be proud of me in that moment.

I share the same message with my siblings. When do good deeds, services, and fulfil her dreams, those who were close to mom recognize us as her children, I know she will be proud of us. She is always with us, guiding and blessing us on our journey.

This transformation happened through meditation. Earlier, when my mom passed away, I felt like I couldn’t achieve anything without her. I wondered how it would even be possible. But through meditation, I experienced a miraculous transformation that gave me the strength and clarity to move forward.

The Power of Positive Cooking: A Vegetarian Journey

I am transitioning toward a vegetarian lifestyle, and I cook food with gratitude. Over time, I’ve noticed that when I prepare food with a positive mindset, something magical happens—the taste improves, there is no wastage, and my cravings have reduced. I can feel my personal growth unfolding day by day.

Cooking has become more than just a routine—it’s now a mindful, almost spiritual practice.

Before I begin cooking, I start by cleaning the gas stove and tidying up the kitchen space. This simple act helps me create a clean, peaceful environment. It feels like clearing not just the physical space, but also my mind. I also make sure to wash the utensils before using them—it’s a small ritual that adds to the purity and intention behind the meal.

While washing vegetables or rice, I offer a quiet prayer for nourishment—both for the body and the soul. I take a moment to express gratitude to the gas stove, the utensils, and every tool I use. They all play a part in this act of love and care.

As I fry vegetables or make chapatis, I consciously affirm that I am burning away my anger and negativity. The flame becomes more than just a source of heat—it becomes a symbol of emotional cleansing and transformation.

This journey has helped me connect with myself on a deeper level. Through every meal, every intention, and every mindful step in the kitchen, I feel more centered, more present, and more grateful.

Animal Cruelty awareness

I am also strongly opposed to animal cruelty in all forms. I believe in respecting all living beings, including even the smallest creatures like mosquitoes and ants.

harming animals is believed to create negative karma, affecting one’s spiritual progress.

In the quantum field, all beings are interconnected. Hurting an animal is not just harming another creature—it is harming oneself and disturbing the balance of the universe.

Moreover, in the cycle of reincarnation, our soul transitions through different forms of existence. Once our soul departs from this body, we do not know where it will be reborn. We may take the form of an animal in the next life. If we wish to receive kindness, we must extend it to all beings. Let us not create suffering for the very creatures we may one day become.

The energy we put into the world always returns to us. When we treat animals with cruelty, we invite suffering into our own lives. But when we show love, we cultivate peace—both within ourselves and in the world around us.

Clarity in My Career Path

My next priority is restarting my career, I have a 9-year career gap, which I now realize was due to limiting beliefs in my subconscious mind. But meditation has helped me break free from those limitations. Now, I have gained clarity in my career path and am actively working towards growth and success.

My Desire to Give Back

The joy and peace I have experienced are so profound that I now wish to share this with others. I aspire to volunteer with Buddha CEO and help others embark on their own transformative journeys. It is my way of spreading the happiness and wisdom I have gained through this practice.

Gratitude

I am immensely grateful to Chandra sir, Jayashree madam, Pradeep sir, Buddha CEO team, and the entire community for guiding me on this beautiful path. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my journey. May we all continue to grow, evolve, and spread joy together.

With love and gratitude, Keerti
